Ninja Story

Why Pink Beauty Ninja?
You may wonder why from all possible blog topics I choose to became a beauty blogger - the topic already chosen by hundreds of blogs. Let me tell you my story.
Generally in my family no one payed much attention to cosmetic products, believing that most of them are just "needless marketing catches". Until my 13's my cosmetic world was limited to an absolute basics as soap or shampoo. Then - thanks to strong hairdresser's recommendation - I started using hair conditioners and I get a little bit interested in haircare, trying out different products. But I haven't pay much attention for my face until acne appeared - I battle with it ever since, it has been attacking my skin in different ways and with different intensity. Approximately in my middle school I started using few anti-ace products, but I never used the whole line. Believe me or not, but I haven't use any moisturiser until my High School, because I thought that since I have an oily skin moisturiser will make it even more oily (wrong!) xD As the time was passing I was interested more in more in different skincare and I took couple of acne treatments - hormonal, herbal, antibiotic - but they either never helped much or acne came back as soon as treatment was over.
In areas of my face where acne was most intensive (chin and cheeks) I have scars and my skin is uneven. Another trouble are enlarged pores. Overall my skin is oily, but I experience some dry patches when I have to use my quite drying anti-acne medical cream. Because of all that I was always struggling with make-up - it's really hard to make it look good and it tends to "slide off"  from my oily face just
after few hours from application. Eventually I just gave up thinking "I look like shite anyway, so what's the difference" - I kept my skincare to basic (face wash, toner, moisturiser) and didn't use any make-up at all. Then once chatting with my friend about my skin difficulties, she mentioned BB Cream. It was couple of months before all the "BB Boom" in Europe, so before Garnier and other western companies put their own BB Creams on the market. I started to tackle into the topic and shortly after discovering BB Creams I was all over Asian (mostly Korean) skin care products, reading different blogs, watching reviews on you tube, buying stuff on e-Bay.
However at some point someone else's reviews were just not enough for me. Very often they were written by people, who didn't experience as much trouble with skin as me... So I thought - why not to start my own blog? Share my own experiences? Maybe there are people just like me out there, who would like to change something in their skincare, but don't know where to start?
So here I am, on my journey for better skin. I still don't know a lot of things and I still struggle a little bit with the make-up (I can't cope with eyeliners xD), but I think one day I will get there. Would you like to get there with me?
