Tony Moly Clean Dew Apple Mint Cleansing Oil

Hello ^^
Today I would like to introduce you to a cleansing oil. I heard about oil cleansing before and it's supposed to be really good, however I was very resistant to the idea. I have an oily, acne prone skin and I just couldn't believe that putting oil on my face will do any good. Then I read that oil cleansing is really good to cleanse skin off from silicons and because I started introducing silicone-based primers to my every day skincare routine (and I am using silicone containing  BB cream every day as well), I've finally  decided to give a cleansing oil a go. And I loved it!

Product description: Contains pure green complex to remain moisturised skin for hours without dryness after cleansing. Moisturising apple mint removes dead skin and impurities clearly. Refreshing type of cleansing oil. Paraben, phenoxy ethanol, benzophenone, sulfate surfactant, tar color free.

The product comes 150ml plastic bottle with pump. I must say I really love the simple yet elegant design of the bottle, also the pump is super handy, as oil is quite runny and of course greasy.

How to use step by step:

From left: lip gloss, lipstick, eye liner, eye shadow, waterproof eye liner, mascara, BB cream.
1. Dispense some amount of oil onto your palms (for me two pumps are just the right amount) and start massaging your dry face.

Make up starts to melt with oil, only waterproof eye liner and mascara are a bit resistant.
2. Wet your fingers and keep massaging your skin. With a little bit of water oil starts to emulsify and becomes a bit foamy. This is the most important step as it takes the most of make up and impurities away.

Even the waterproof eyeliner doesn't stand a chance against emulsified oil! :)
3. Rinse of with warm water.

Clean! ^^
4. Clean your face with your favourite cleansing foam/gel.
Note: because the oil does all the heavy duty cleaning you can go for some really mild foam.

I absolutely love performance of this product. It cleans well, but doesn't dry out skin. I was afraid how my oily skin will react treated with OIL, but I haven't experience any breakouts. After cleansing my face is instantly brightened and pores are minimised (remember: well cleaned pores = smaller pores!). Skin is moisturised and smooth in touch. The lovely apple scent with a subtle hint of mint is just a cherry on the top.

Price: just over £7 on e-Bay.  This is actually the cheapest Korean cleansing oil I managed to find ^^

Pros:
+ cleanse well
+ refreshes and brightens up face
+ doesn't dry out the skin
+ lovely scent
+ cheap

Cons:
NONE!

It's another Tony Moly product (among the Petite Me Cotton BB Cream) that goes onto my favourites list. Highly recommended to anyone ^^

  1. Hiiii! I'm wondering, does this cleansing oil has Mineral Oil or something similar in it? I'm looking for a nice cleansing oil without it :x
    Thank you!*

    1. hello and thank you for your comment ^^
Unfortunately the ingredients of this product are only in Korean, which I don't know, therefore I am not able to answer your question. However since is a "light type" of oil I wouldn't expect mineral oil to be there. I'm using this product for couple of months now and it haven't done any harm to my oily and acne prone skin.
You may want to check out Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oils (there is couple versions of it, including light) as Etude House always have ingredients list in English and from what I can see these oils don't contain mineral oil.
I hope that helps a little, regards :)

    2. Hii :3
Hm...I guess I need to check that light version of Etude House because I researched for one of them a long time ago and it had mineral oil :x I can't use products with that because it clogs my pores and makes my dehydrated and oily skin even more dehydrated and oily T__T
Anyway, thank you very much <3

    1. hello! Recently I'm in love with snail products, so I would recommend Secret Key Snail + EGF Repairing Cleanser. It cleanses really well, it's cheap and doesn't dry out skin (full review here: http://www.pinkbeautyninja.com/2014/08/secret-key-snaegf-repairing-foam.html). I used it ina a duo with this oil and they did really well. Good luck ^^
